Whitelist

W A-Z
A curated list of wallet addresses or users who have been granted permission to participate in a specific event or access particular features of a project or protocol. Whitelists are most commonly used for token launches (IDO, ICO) and NFT collection mints—only listed participants can acquire an asset at the early stage, often ahead of the public sale and on more favorable terms.

Earning a whitelist spot typically requires meeting the project’s criteria, such as:

  • social media engagement (follows, reposts, comments, content creation);
  • contributions to the project community;
  • completing verification or registration;
  • participating in product testing.
